Position Summary
e.l.f. Cosmetics is seeking a collaborative, detail-oriented Associate Manager, Distribution to join our high-growth beauty company. Working cross-functionally across e.l.f. and in partnership with our third-party logistics provider (3PL), this role will manage our merchandise and Value-Added Services (VAS) programs. Responsibilities include overseeing inbound shipments of VAS components, outbound shipments of VAS kits, generating and monitoring work orders, and ensuring all programs are executed accurately and on schedule. The Associate Manager will provide ongoing reporting related to VAS readiness, completion, execution, cost, and residual inventory while supporting operational improvements across Distribution.
Responsibilities
- Manage Merchandise and VAS programs for the Canada market.
- Assign, develop, and monitor program information with internal teams and the 3PL.
- Coordinate program timelines with the 3PL and ensure on-time execution.
- Prepare and distribute reporting for VAS readiness, completion, execution, cost, and residuals.
- Execute leadership and cross-functional requests related to product needs, VAS supplies, and other operational activities.
- Generate, distribute, and track all work orders and work instructions.
- Arrange inbound freight from domestic and international suppliers; maintain a receiving schedule aligned with 3PL staffing.
- Plan outbound shipments to Canadian customers by partnering with Order Management, warehouse operations, and transportation 3PLs.
- Root-cause customer on-time delivery penalties and implement corrective action plans to drive systemic improvements.
- Assist in the development and execution of operational strategies.
- Monitor daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and adherence to standards.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and workflow optimization.
- Foster collaboration between Warehouse Operations and key departments (Transportation, Order Management, Supply Chain).
- Ensure alignment with company goals, operational metrics, and service standards.
- Collect and analyze operational data to assess performance and identify trends.

- Track and manage budgets, expenses, and resource utilization.
- Maintain high service levels and resolve operational issues that may impact customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead and support cross-functional projects to enhance operational efficiency, managing timelines, resources, and deliverables.
Requirements
