Your Mission
The Associate Manager, Digital Marketing will play a key role in supporting social conversations and community discussions for Call of Duty, including supporting original content production across franchise social media channels, as well as help develop/execute real-time communication strategies around news and live-issues.
The position requires strong collaboration and communication skills as well as a thorough video game technical knowledge, and a deep passion for gaming along with detailed familiarity with Call of Duty and community relations.
This is a full-time opportunity embedded within Call of Duty supporting digital marketing and communications teams.
What you bring to the table
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
Stay plugged into the latest topics and trends on social media, Call of Duty and general video game entertainment communities
Collaborate across cross-functional Call of Duty teams and communications teams to support dynamic real-time news, updates, and live-issues communications
Play an integral role in the ongoing development and day-to-day execution of Call of Duty social media topics, including identifying opportunities to engage in real-time with fact-based, verified information and updates
Support content strategy and live issue communications, including monitoring conversation and strategic social media calendars
Contribute to the strategy and manage the day-to-day implementation of original content productions, including original digital video series and the official Call of Duty Podcast, as well as adapting long-form Call of Duty blog editorial for short-form social media
Take an active role in leading the development and growth of the official Call of Duty Discord server
Work collaboratively across cross-functional teams to drive the day/day editorial, content planning, copywriting and reactive engagement within community platforms and across social media
Support real-time communications around live-events, announcements, and large gameplay campaign beats
Analyze and report on content and program performance data to drive continuous improvement and optimization
Overall ability to manage a spectrum of dynamic projects and real-time communication needs
Minimum Requirements
Minimum 8+ years of experience in video game marketing, journalism, community management and/or social media, preferably in gaming
Appetite for all things digital and social, up to date on the latest platforms and technologies, as well as a desire to identify opportunities for real-time, issues-driven communications
Passion for gaming, especially the Call of Duty franchise and community, as well as a strong knowledge of gaming audience segments
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Working knowledge of social platforms and associated analytics programs and tools such as Sprinklr, Opal, Confluence, JIRA, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Tik Tok, Discord, Reddit and Facebook, as well as each platform’s native analytics tools
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask while remaining communicative with teams
Experience with working cross-departmentally and/or with 3rd-party agencies/partners a plus; experience reviewing analytics and performance data to interpret insights
Bachelor’s degree in creative writing, communications, journalism, public relations, or marketing; experience refining a brand’s ‘voice’ on social, including copywriting
Experience working with influencers a plus
Video production/publishing, graphic design and/or content creation experience a plus
Detail-oriented, self-directed skills including ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, including adaptability to fluid and last-minute changes

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $72,720.00 - $134,460.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
