Associate Manager Data Engineering

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and administer Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC) environments.

  • Manage Informatica Cloud Application Integration, Data Integration, MDM, and API management components (as applicable).

  • Create and manage connections, secure agents, runtime environments, and application settings.

  • Monitor secure agent performance, schedules, jobs, and workflows.

  • Perform user administration, role mapping, and access control.

  • Troubleshoot IDMC jobs, secure agent issues, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.

  • Support data integration deployments and assist development teams with environment issues.

  • Write and optimize SQL queries for debugging, validation, and data checks.

  • Work on Linux-based servers for agent installation, log analysis, and environment fixes.

  • Perform system upgrades, patch installations, and environment maintenance.

  • Maintain documentation for configurations, standards, and operational procedures.

🔹 Required Skills

  • Strong experience in Informatica IDMC (Informatica Cloud) administration.

  • Hands-on experience with:

    • Secure Agent configuration and maintenance

    • Runtime environments

    • Schedules & job monitoring

    • User and access management

  • Solid working knowledge of SQL for validation and troubleshooting.

  • Strong experience in Linux OS (log analysis, scripting, installation support).

  • Understanding of data integration concepts, ETL pipelines, and cloud data flows.

  • Experience with at least one cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP) is a plus.

🔹 Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or MDM

  • Automation using Shell or Python

  • Experience in cloud networking and connectivity for IDMC
