The Inclusive Solutions (IS) engagement team has an opportunity for an Associate Manager to join their team. The IS engagement team leads planning and logistics for Prudential’s initiatives with external partners for events, conferences, galas, etc. This work helps to amplify our social impact and business value to enhance Prudential's brand and reputation and support enterprise goals and objectives. The associate manager will lead a national portfolio of partnerships and engagements supporting our business growth efforts and brand and reputation narrative. They will be expected to manage events including budgets and planning, manage internal and external relationships, work cross-functionally, collaborate, and analyze data for impact reporting. This role will report directly to the Director of Engagements & Planning.

The current employee work arrangement for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect:

  • Manage a portfolio of complex partnership engagements that leverage thought leadership opportunities to elevate Prudential’s purpose driven brand while nurturing relationships.

  • Serve as point of contact with partners to manage the end-to-end operational aspects of the portfolio that includes maintaining budgets and planning documents, performing due diligence, obtaining documentation, contract negotiations, and payment processing.

  • Ensure records are accurately updated and maintained to confirm compliance with policies and procedures, including but not limited to budget and planning databases, contract and expense systems, Gifts & Entertainment tracking database, and document storage drives.

  • Plan, organize, and execute partner events, including festivals, workshops, and networking events and collaborate with local businesses, vendors, and sponsors to enhance event offerings and secure partnerships. Plan and support other engagements as needed.

  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and coordinate with marketing and communication teams to promote events.

  • Oversee event logistics, including site selection, setup, and breakdown, recruit, train, and manage volunteers and event staff, and evaluate success and gather feedback for continuous improvement.

What you’ll need:

  • 5+ Years of related experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field

  • Proven experience in event planning and management.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as Microsoft Project

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including experience working with diverse audiences and non-profits

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.

What we offer you:

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $83,500.00 to $129,500.00. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.
