Job description - Associate Logistic Specialist
As a part of JBT Marel’s Global Supply Chain, the Associate Logistic Specialist is responsible for the End-to-End delivery performance, securing successful on time deliveries of both Equipment and Spare Parts to internal and external customers
Responsibilities
- Secure process alignment in local shipping team with global JBT Marel standards,
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational shipping process, improvement of productivity, level of integration towards carriers, service, quality and delivery performance by applying JBT Marel Global standards
- Initiate corrective and preventive measures if necessary
- Monitor and support the analysis of the End-to-End delivery performance to ensure that the identified strategic Key Performance Indicators are realized
- Monitor and analyze monthly freight cost in order to explain the financial development and hereunder approve carrier invoices
- Ensure financial and custom compliance in terms of Export Registration, use of HS codes, Incoterms, Country of origin, Certificates etc.
- Responsible for Shipping out Equipment and Spare Parts to local JBT Marel Sales offices, Distributors, Technicians and directly to End-customers. Various transportation modes: Air, Sea, Rail, Road & Parcel
- Support Procurement and Manufacturing on inbound flow into JBT Marel from external suppliers
- Support Global Logistics Director through various projects
Language skills
- English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Proficiency (C2)

Please note: This position is for a fixed period of 1 year with the possibility of extension.
The starting salary is €1,860 (base salary €1,550 + a variable component of €380 paid monthly) + commuting allowance + 13th salary.
