MUS 364LEC - World Music
Introduces the student to music from all over the world, and expands concepts of music in the process. Students learn about different instruments from other cultures and how they influence the music they produce, and explore common features of Asian, European, African, American, and Oceanic music. Students also learn different ways of listening. Designed for non-majors. Requires no musical background.
Job Requirement
• A Ph.D or Master's Degree in related discipline from a reputable university.
• At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred
• 5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage
• Course design and implementation based on UB syllabus and textbook
• Assessment of students
• Must be available to teach daytime on weekdays
• Familiarity with Blackboard is a plus
