Job Description
The Lecturer will be responsible for delivering instruction in machine learning, ensuring students gain both theoretical understanding and practical skills. The role requires expertise in core machine learning principles and neural networks.
Teaching Objectives:
1.Explain and compare fundamental machine learning concepts and use several machin learning algorithms 2.Analyse the difference between different machine learning problems (e.g.supervised/unsupervised, classification/regression, clustering/dimensionality reduction) 3.Select and justify appropriate feature representations for different types of data 4.Describe the basic components of a neural network and how they can be combined to form moderately complex learning architectures 5.Select and apply standard machine learning methods on data
Job Requirements:
- A Ph.D or Master's Degree in a related discipline from a reputable university
- At least 2 years of relevant teaching experience at the tertiary level is preferred
- 5 years of relevant work experience will be an added advantage
- Applicant must be available to teach day classes.
