Associate Lead, Document Review Services APAC

SUMMARY

The Associate Lead role supports the Document Review Services Team Lead on active projects. They understand client requirements, review documents, and extract applicable data. This role focuses on individual tasks, identifying patterns during audits and providing timely updates to Junior Analysts or team members to meet deadlines and maintain accuracy and quality standards.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • Analyzes documents, takes notes and tags content according to project specifications
  • Utilizes established procedures and methods to solving issues, may employ creative problem-solving under certain circumstances
  • Collaborates closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to stay updated on the latest project instructions and updates Utilizes review tools such as Relativity, 4IG, and custom tools to identify required documents and extract data from them
  • Helps lead project review team through appropriate uses of review tools and review workflows as implemented by the Senior Project Manager, including integration of quality control workflows involving the client and/or counsel and senior project reviewers.
  • Delivers any findings promptly for respective projects Identifies data access timing and indicators based on analysis
  • Performs audits on projects assigned Perform the validation on the final work product Leveraging review tools including Relativity, 4IG and custom tools to identify the required documents and extract the data from the documents
  • Provides any finding on timely manner in the respective projects
  • Performs the basic searches to identify the patterns in the project
  • Identifies the timing and indicators of data access based on the analysis
  • Manages multiple projects daily which are mostly autonomous, may need assistance with difficult or complex issues
  • Is responsible for integrity in analysis, quality for the projects
  • Coordinates with Subject Matter Experts and Works under little or no supervision, may receive general guidance on new assignments
  • Manages multiple projects daily
  • Meets the set targets for each project
  • Performs other duties assigned by management

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE  

  • Strong understanding of review document analysis especially in data breach review
  • Practical knowledge in using different eDiscovery and data breach platforms, like Relativity, Canopy, Brainspace, Nuix etc.
  • Strong understanding of handling work on Excel and basic other Microsoft applications (Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Flexible, adaptable, responsive, and positive

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's degree in in Law, Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Management, or Statistics and 6-8 years of Document review experience or Bachelor's Degree and 2-5 years related experience
  • 6+ years of document review experience strongly preferred, ideally with experience reviewing PII/PHI
  • Project management experience a plus
  • Ability to work greater than 40 hours per week as needed
