The Role
This is an opportunity to become a member of the LTIM team, providing assistance as required in the areas of investment structuring, investment implementation and fund management. The role gives exposure to general investment management principles, risk considerations and investment process.
Principal Accountabilities
Assist with the manager selection and oversight of third-party fund managers.
To produce research and analysis to support stakeholder activities as requested by the head of the team.
Develop & produce analysis to support LTIM activities.
Assisting various strategic projects within LTIM.
Development and running of asset models as required.
Research into investment opportunities as required.
Assist in the day-to-day activities of LTIM.
To provide regular management information and respond to ad hoc queries.
Assist with the production of stakeholder reports.
Working with operations ensure all operational considerations for third-party investment managers are considered, implemented and incorporated into the asset infrastructure ecosystem.
Manage the capital call and distribution of the Central Fund allocation to third-party funds.
Provide recommendations for rebalancing of the portfolio and execute any required drawdowns or subscriptions.
Skills
Public and private markets is desirable.
Third-party manager selection and oversight is desirable.
Strong analytical and numeracy skills
Good verbal and written communication skills
Good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to analyse complex data sets and present key information to internal and external stakeholders
