Associate, Investment Operations

The role will be based in Hong Kong/Singapore with the expectation of a hybrid work model.

PineBridge Investments is seeking a 12 month contract associate for our Asia investment operations team. 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily monitoring, oversight and management of outsourced Middle Office provider, which include trade management, reconciliations, onboarding and corporate actions.
  • Follow-up on trade issues with relevant stake-holders (dealing desk, investment teams, brokers, custodian, Middle Office providers, etc.)
  • Follow-up on reconciliation exceptions with relevant stake-holders ensuring timely resolution and accuracy of the book of records.
  • Manage and resolve queries sent to the Middle Office.
  • Perform periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) reporting to internal and external clients.
  • Assist in projects and system implementation.

Qualifications:

  • You should have a good Degree in Finance, Management, Business Administration or related fields with knowledge of listed equity, fixed income and derivative products.
  • At least 5 years of Asset Management operations experience, specifically in middle office, with a strong understanding of the entire end-to-end process.
  • Strong attention to detail and able to work with various parties in issue resolution.
  • A self-starter and team player, able to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and able to collaborate with various local and global stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office suite, especially in Microsoft Excel. Experience in Bloomberg AIMS, Blackrock Aladdin would be considered favorably.
