This role is part of Alcon's Engineering function, a team focused on improving  quality, processes, products, packaging and materials across our business to help deliver brilliant outcomes.

The Associate II, Field Technical Service Engineering (Science/Tech/Engineering Path), is primarily responsible for ensuring Alcon equipment functions effectively, solving complex issues, and recommending new products. You will build customer relationships and document service logs using advanced technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Specifics include:

• Tackle highly complex tasks and contribute to cutting-edge projects
• Ensure all Alcon equipment at customer sites and demo equipment function effectively as per specifications
• Identify and correct complex start-up problems
• Research, evaluate, and recommend new products or equipment upgrades that meet customer needs
• Develop ongoing customer relationships to secure future business, including AMC/CAMC sales and renewals
• Instruct clients on proper equipment usage and operation
• Document and maintain clients’ service logs
• Prepare reports for product failure analysis and serviceability issues, escalating to relevant engineering teams
• Adhere to GxP regulations by following SOPs, maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring quality control, and completing required training
• Meet individual job requirements and contribute to overall organizational compliance
• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance
