Contract Role: Associate Healthcare Research & Data Analyst / Cataloging Analyst

Description:
Clarivate is looking for a curious, creative, team worker and detail-oriented individual for the role of an Associate Healthcare Research & Data Analyst. In this role, you will work with a team of data analysts to mine and make sense of large, distinct datasets that focus on different aspects of the US healthcare market: hospital purchasing data. Responsibilities include:
- Effectively build, mine, and manage multiple datasets, which will be required for market modelling and analysis.
- Maintain existing SKU catalogs.
- Research and understand novel device markets, including major competitors, uses, and product segmentation.
- Manage and handle custom requests from key Clarivate clients in the medical device space.
- Cataloging Volume: A volume of at least 100 records per day/ 500 records per week/ 2000 records per month of curation (SKUs cataloging) to be completed.
- Quality: Expected 98% quality to be maintained for the cataloged records.
- Present key findings to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements:
- Expertise in understanding data variables and connecting the dots in various datasets.
- Expertise in handling and manipulating large data sets
- Knowledge of analytical concepts
- Proficiency with written and oral communications and must be able to communicate complex quantitative ideas to internal and external stakeholders.
- Problem solving ability.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Excel is mandatory.
- Ability to do secondary research.
- A clear understanding of statistical terms and concepts.
- Analytical skills
- Expertise in anyone (or more) of the data processing tools/languages such as – Python/ /SQL is a plus
