Associate- Global Product Implementation & Execution

The Associate- Global Product Implementation & Execution assists in the oversight, management and coordination of the Investment Platform Management process including fund introductions, mergers, liquidations, share class additions/mergers across multiple investment platforms.  

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the mitigation of the operational, legal, and compliance risks associated with fund events by helping to ensure that all events are communicated, understood, and that ownership of each individual aspect is clear.

  • Assist in the proper execution of all fund events.  Fund events can encompass legal, compliance, tax, product, operations, and business unit considerations.

  • Assist in the development of strategic plans to execute on all fund events while determining downstream impacts including: 

  • Overall impact on global Business Units.

  • Merger logistics, involving consideration of global regulations requirements, and guidelines.  Often requires input from outside legal counsel. 

  • Coordinate meetings with various parties including: Fund Administration, Legal, Compliance, Tax, internal Business Units, and external Asset Managers.  Document action items and meeting minutes.

  • Update internal tracking tools.

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree required. 

  • Experience in product implementation preferred but not required.

  • 3+ years’ experience in the financial services industry. 

  • Strong Project Management skills

  • Can effectively arbitrate and resolve conflicts between internal and/or external constituents

  • Superior communication skills, including presentation and meeting facilitation skills.

  • Prioritizing and reprioritizing project deliverables and deadlines

  • Managing and coordinating internal resources with the goal of risk mitigation and project completion

Salary range is expected to be between

$71,925.00 CAD - $119,875.00 CAD
