When companies need to raise equity capital – whether through an IPO, a follow-on offering or a Convertible – ECM is at the center of it. • Be part of a team coordinating across Origination, Syndicate, Sales and Trading to market, price and allocate transactions

  • Interface with legal, compliance and external counsel on transaction execution

  • Prepare thought pieces on ECM market trends for internal and client-facing use

What do you need to success?

  • Undergraduate Degree

  • Sharp quantitative skills – comfort in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to distill complex market dynamics into a clear narrative

  • Attention to detail, strong work ethic, ability to manage competing deadlines

  • Team-first mentality

What’s in it for you?

We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper. We care about each other, reaching our potential, making a difference to our communities, and achieving success that is mutual.

  • Opportunities to build close relationships with clients.

The expected salary range for this particular position is $175,000 - $225,000, depending on your experience, skills, and registration status, market conditions and business needs.

You have the potential to earn more through RBC’s discretionary variable compensation program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
