Job Description
Title: Associate, Finished Goods Procurement & Wedding Engagement
Reports To: Senior Manager, Finished Good Production Planning & Procurement
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Key communication contact for specified North American, European, and Bridal Production/Repair suppliers regarding purchase orders, production quantities, capacity, replenishment edits, process changes, demand planning, and priority orders.
- Review and approve/reject supplier promise dates and track on-time delivery performance across product lifecycles: New Collection Launches, Replenishment, Non-Replenishment, Special Orders, and Repairs.
- Monitor supplier schedules for high-priority and new launch products
- Maintain and update key tracking files including Vendor Tracking, Vendor Specials, Bridal Production, and Bridal Customer Service Logs.
- Troubleshoot invoice/receiving discrepancies
- Partner cross-functionally to address risks impacting Finished Goods or Repairs (e.g., component delays, new product development timelines and concerns)
- Serve as liaison between retail stores and bridal repair suppliers, ensuring repair requests are processed accurately and ETAs communicated back to stores for client updates.
- Coordinate shipments and pickups with DY messengers, shops, and internal shipping teams to consolidate inbound/outbound Bridal Repair and Production.
- Manage retail buying requests and projects for Bridal Production (e.g., pullbacks); oversee end-to-end Bridal Production workflow to ensure timely execution and accurate data capture.
- Partner with IT to resolve Oracle/system issues causing delays in production or repair order releases and contributing to excess Bridal/High Jewelry inventory.
- Participate in weekly New Product Launch meetings and host bi-weekly Bridal/High Jewelry meetings to align on deliveries, development, and retail requests.
- Maintain data integrity across management systems (Word, Excel, Oracle, and other tools)
- Support the Manager of Finished Goods Procurement with ad hoc projects including Bridal Repair, Bridal Production, reporting, and High Jewelry tracking.
Other Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional Procurement experience.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to balance business needs.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Effective organizational skills and attention to detail; proactive in identifying and implementing new solutions.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to translate data-driven analysis into actionable recommendation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Oracle systems.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Estimated Pay Rate: $32.69 - $35.00 per hour
