Responsible for developing, managing, marketing, underwriting, and sustaining profitable business by providing high level technical and sales expertise with commercial insurance coverages for the clients of independent and retail insurance agents and brokerages.
About PartnerOne:
PartnerOne Environmental, a division of SPG, is a program administrator providing environmental insurance coverages for a variety of small to middle market contractors, consultants, and property owners and managers. All products are quoted, bound, and issued in-house, enabling us to offer fast turnaround times and excellent service.
About the Position:
Responsible for working closely with underwriting management to gain knowledge of the book of business, with focus on developing, managing, marketing, underwriting, and sustaining a profitable book of business in accordance with program guidelines.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain loyal relationships with insurance agents and brokers to create business placement opportunities
Develop and maintain underwriting relationships with insurance carriers by demonstrating in-depth personal insurance knowledge and adherence to underwriting guidelines
Recognize acceptable business opportunities through underwriting pre-qualification process
Successfully underwrite and bind new and renewal business
Meet and sustain targeted revenue goals
Coordinate resources to accomplish account specific objectives
Assume ultimate responsibility for the successful completion of all account tasks and details on account portfolio
Education, Work Experience, & Knowledge:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience and knowledge considered
Demonstrated understanding of commercial insurance coverages
Experience in customer relations, sales management, and negotiation skills
Highest level of interpersonal skills to participate in team building and resource management
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to travel intermittently throughout the year
Salary Transparency:
Disclosure required under applicable law in California, Colorado, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, and Washington states: The expected salary range for this position is $50,000-$55,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience and working location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope and level.
