Associate Enterprise Software Engineer

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and maintaining software, automation tools, and infrastructure components supporting cloud platforms, infrastructure services, and enterprise technology environments.

  • Support application and infrastructure operations across multiple environments including traditional hosting providers, private cloud, and public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.

  • Participate in the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including design discussions, development, testing, deployment, and ongoing operational support.

  • Work with senior engineers to develop, enhance, and troubleshoot Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and related automation frameworks.

  • Contribute to cloud infrastructure automation, environment provisioning, and operational improvements.

  • Assist in evaluating new technologies, development patterns, and tools through POCs, pilots, and technical experimentation.

  • Support debugging, troubleshooting, and improvement of existing platforms, scripts, and infrastructure components.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and follow engineering best practices for documentation, code management, and operational processes.

Job Qualifications

Education

Required:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related technical field.

Preferred:
Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in software development, cloud engineering, automation, or infrastructure support roles.

  • Exposure to programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, Powershell, Bash, or similar technologies.

  • Basic understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code concepts and tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar automation technologies is preferred.

  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and engineering best practices.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment while managing multiple tasks.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated interest in cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and platform engineering.
