Thunes’ graduate programme is part of the Singapore Global Executive Programme (SGEP), in partnership with Enterprise Singapore.

Context of the role
As an Associate Employee Success Partner and brand ambassador for Thunes, representing our values and commitment to our people and innovation in the global payments space, you will initially report into Employee Success and play a pivotal role in supporting the effective delivery of People services, projects and transformation initiatives across the organisation.This role sits at the intersection of Employee Success, Business Partnering and strategic People projects, providing hands-on operational support while also contributing to longer-term improvement, digitalisation and change initiatives within the People function. You will also be involved in cross-functional projects within the People team spanning Employee Success, Business Partnering and Talent Acquisition.
Key Responsibilities
People (HR) Support and Projects
- Act as a key point of contact for employees and line managers regarding HR policies, benefits, processes and general People-related enquiries, providing accurate guidance and escalating complex matters where required supporting a positive and responsive employee experience
- Support the People Leadership team (PLT) in the operational delivery of real-time tasks for People strategies, performance management cycles, compensation reviews, and talent planning activities
- Build strong rapport with stakeholders to understand the "heartbeat" of the teams and proactively flag morale or retention risks
- Support People transformation initiatives by coordinating project activities, tracking actions, preparing materials and contributing to the delivery of agreed outcomes
- Partner with Employee Success leadership to identify opportunities to improve ways of working, simplify processes and reduce friction for employees and managers
- Ad-hoc Strategic HR Projects: Collaborate with PLT on critical projects, including performance management cycle reviews, organisational design initiatives, talent mapping, career development framework and HR policies
People (HR) Digital Transformation & AI Implementation
- AI Initiative: Being part of the People Team's champion to launch AI tools and capabilities. This includes researching, piloting and recommending an AI-driven tool to enhance efficiency in HR operations
- Process Optimisation: Analyse current HR collaborative platform’s data and workflows, identify opportunities for digitalisation and/or automation, specifically leveraging AI capability to free up HR operation’s capacity for strategic work
- Change Management: Support the People Team in the go-live and launch of new AI tool through training, documentation and presentation
Professional Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Psychology, Data Analytics (with keenness to move into Corporate function), or a related business field
- Preferably 1 to 2 years of post-graduate experience, in Business/HR Administration or HR analytical/project management capacity
- Genuine interest in technology and a foundational understanding of how AI can be applied in the business/HR context
- Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders, demonstrating good project management skills and attention to detail
- Analytical and research skills with the ability to synthesise complex information into actionable insights (essential for AI Initiatives' implementation)
- Excellent written and communication skills, capability in influencing and collaborating with diverse teams globally, with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in tools or platforms such as HRIS (Hibob or other), Microsoft Office - Excel etc, Google Workspace with fundamental knowledge in Google Gemini, Google Analytics
- Agile mindset in working at a fast-paced, high-growth scale-up environment
- Passion and keen to grow in cross-border payments, B2B payment business
- Good to have fundamental knowledge of local employment law
- Key talent traits: High potential, high empathy, business acumen, and operational smarts
Other Requirements
- The programme is open to Singaporeans and Permanent Residents in active undergraduate and graduate university programmes with less than three years work experience
- Graduates should be able to start work from Jan 2026 and onwards
