Job Summary: This position is located in the Department of Financial Management Division (FMD), within the Department of Administration and Finance, at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Although the position is advertised equivalent to GS-14/15, MCC uses a pay banded system to compensate employees. This position is pay band 3B/3A which is generally equal to GS-14/15.
Major Duties:
Qualifications: To qualify for pay band 3B, applicants must also meet the following: Have at least one year of specialized experience relevant to the position duties and comparable to the MCC Pay Band 4A (GS-13) or an equivalent level which is directly related to the work of this position and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position. For this position, this experience is defined as; serving as a technical resource and advisor to management officials and staff on program budgeting and financial management issues; ensuring that appropriated funds are properly planned, budgeted, obligated, expended, and reported; experience with financial systems, data integration, and testing; and developing, writing, and reviewing policy documentation, procedural guidance, operational procedures, process manuals, etc. Note: This experience MUST be well documented within your resume or application.
