Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement departmental goals in alignment with company and R&D strategy, driving scientific and operational excellence.
Provide strategic and technical guidance in translational medicine research, flow cytometry assay development, and related analytical platforms.
Plan and manage departmental budgets, ensuring efficient resource utilization and effective execution of R&D projects.
Lead translational research, clinical sample testing, and assay transfer/validation activities, ensuring high-quality and timely project delivery.
Collaborate closely with internal R&D teams, clinical investigators, hospitals, and external partners to support study execution and data delivery.
Promote academic output through publications in international journals and presentations at global conferences.
Coordinate internal and external resources to foster collaboration with academic institutions, CROs, and regulatory bodies.
Lead, mentor, and motivate team members to build a high-performing and innovative R&D organization.
Perform other duties as assigned by senior leadership.
Qualifications and Experience
Master’s degree or above in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Immunology, or related biomedical disciplines; Ph.D. preferred.
Strong technical background in method development, validation, and documentation; experience in antibody or cell therapy is highly desirable.
Familiar with GLP, GCP, and translational research standards.
Demonstrated ability in strategic thinking, innovation, and project management.
Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills in English.
Ph.D. with 8–10 years, or Master’s with 12–15 years of relevant experience in biopharmaceutical R&D; minimum 3–5 years of project and team management experience.
International education or professional experience is a plus.
