Together, we push the boundaries of known science and find new ways to connect and protect our world.

This role is the Program Manager for Strategic Growth for SSPS' highest growth area, the Domain Awareness and Precision Strike (DAPS) portfolio.

We have an immediate and critical need for a high impact, high visibility role as a Program Manager in charge of the portfolio's Strategic Growth.  This role has two primary charters: capturing several billion dollars already identified and in process new business outlined in our current five year plan, as well as being a portfolio level resource (internal consultant) in aiding strategic, competitive captures in sister organizations that represent franchise opportunities for new product lines.  This role purposefully has no active profit and loss in order to allow bandwidth to address these strategic opportunities.  That said, a qualified individual would be ideally positioned for leadership on the awarded captures as they transition to executing programs.  This is a challenging role, as the ideal candidate will need to understand customer expectations and constraints, Raytheon technologies, and how to build product line roadmaps and associated technical roadmaps.  Typically captures within this portfolio, given their size and complexity, require enterprise-level collaboration, demand innovation to differentiate ourselves against highly qualified competition, and mastery of executive communication to both senior customers and Raytheon executives.  This person will set the vision for customer success, organize and inspire our team to align around the vision, leveraging the strengths of our world class talent to develop strategy to action plans.  Collaboration, communication, and the ability to lead through influence will be central to the role's success.
