RTX has an opening for an Associate Director, Source to Pay (S2P) Process Transformation Lead (Associate Director, Supply Chain Management) position.

  • Experience working within an organization that is responsible for driving large scale, complex programs and projects related to business process and system transformation, ideally ERP implementation using SAP’s S4 HANA solution. 

About oneRTX: Process & Systems Transformation (PST) 

RTX launched oneRTX focused on leveraging the scale of our three business units to improve collaboration, cost structure, productivity and performance. This will include several major, multi-year initiatives that align to our goals as a company and optimize how we work, operate and deliver to our customers to achieve our full potential. With processes optimized and harmonized, will reduce cost, effort and improve performance as we break down silos and establish consistent ways of working. 

The oneRTX: PST project goals are to harmonize key business processes, tools and metrics across RTX, while deploying a common enterprise resource management platform – SAP’s S4 HANA. The result will be a common user experience across the businesses, real-time visibility into critical data, and automation of manual tasks to enable all employees to focus on value-add activities.   

The strategic definition and design phase has primarily concluded and is now entering the initial blueprinting, build and support phases. oneRTX: PST project hubs are based out of Farmington, CT and Dallas, TX with Integration Workshops planned to be executed in Tucson, Tewksbury, East Hartford, Montreal, Cedar Rapids, and Charlotte.  Travel will be required based on prox

imity to hub and frequency of workshops.  

The Source to Pay team will be working to drive transformation within Supply Chain process and systems related to Sourcing, Procurement, Vendor Management, Contracting and Accounts Payable.

Today across RTX there are a variety of business processes and software platforms that support the flow of information from our customers to our factories to our suppliers and enable our ability to report and analyze our collective performance.  This combination of process and tools is commonly called Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).  In support of the future of RTX the enterprise has begun an ERP transformation journey to optimize business processes, enable data strategy, and implement a common approach to our next generation ERP software - SAP/S4 Hana. 

  • The RTX SAP/S4 Hana Program Management Office team is focused on setting up the framework and executing RTX ERP Transformation partnering with Corporate and Business Units.
  • We will drive customer and financial performance through technological advancements, data insights and process optimization. 
  • Work in a fast-paced environment to assist in the design, development, and data creation for testing of S4Hana integrations between topic groups and processes owned by other workstreams in relation to supply chain. 
  • Lead the coordination of cross S2P topic teams testing ensuring robust end to end validation of functionality while working with the S2P BU leads.

What You Will Do: 

  • Partner with the topics leads to ensure a common consistent process and adherence to the testing process
  • Develop and document S2P test book process to contain data and results
  • Coordinate S2P design compliance to requirements across Topic Groups
  • Assist in defining the Supply Chain testing requirement for validation of functionality as it aligns to requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Coordination of test defect resolution
  • Manage projects ensuring on time schedule, within budget and meeting all technical requirements as defined by the team. 
  • Provide technical, business and supply chain guidance to the S2P project team 
  • Foster relationships with all internal and external stakeholders and business partners 
  • Travel 25-40%

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Minimum 12+ years' experience leading a large, complex A&D enterprise projects and a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain or related field or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (preferably SAP & their impact on business processes. 
  • S2P Workstream Knowledge: Sourcing, Procurement, Contracting, and Vendor Management
  • Experience working with cross functional/cross business unit teams on high visibility projects with strong business acumen 
  • Experience working with teams to define and integrate IT Solution architecture or software 

 Qualifications We Prefer​:

  • Experience with project management tools and methodologies, particularly agile frameworks/iterative approaches to software development and implementation projects​, with the ability to integrate change management with broader project timelines and objectives. 
  • Experience with MS Application Suite (Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and other applicable business software.
  • Ability to Travel 25-40%

The salary range for this role is 147,000 USD - 295,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
