The Senior Manager/ Associate Director, Procurement Operations Center will lead the Procurement Operations Center team, ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality execution across the Source-to-Pay (S2P) lifecycle.
This role carries overall responsibility for team performance, daily operational delivery, and continuous improvement of procurement operations. While the position contributes to the further development of processes and ways of working, the primary focus is on leading and developing the team, ensuring strong execution, and maintaining a stable, scalable, and compliant operational setup.
The role requires close collaboration with Strategic Procurement, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure effective support of operational procurement activities and alignment across functions.
Team Leadership and Operational Management
Lead, coach, and develop the Procurement Operations team, fostering a strong, collaborative, and accountable team culture
Assume responsibility for team performance, capacity, priorities, and delivery quality across daily procurement operations
Act as escalation point for operational issues and support timely resolution of day-to-day challenges
Procurement Operations Execution
Ensure efficient and compliant execution of PR/PO processes and broader S2P operational activities
Maintain a stable and scalable operational setup that supports business needs and service quality
Monitor KPIs and operational performance, and ensure appropriate follow-up on delivery and process quality
Continuous Improvement and Systems Support
Drive continuous improvement of processes, tools, and team ways of working to strengthen efficiency and user experience
Support system enhancements related to procurement operations
Contribute to further development of Procurement Operations by helping implement scalable and effective processes while maintaining focus on operational excellence
Cross-Functional Collaboration, Governance and Compliance
Collaborate closely with Strategic Procurement, Finance, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure effective operational support and alignment
Ensure compliance, governance, and audit readiness across procurement operations activities
Support clear reporting and operational transparency through relevant metrics and follow-up
Solid experience in Procurement Operations and Source-to-Pay processes (5+ years)
Strong people leadership experience, including leading, developing, and motivating operational teams
Strong SAP knowledge and understanding of procurement systems and processes
Experience driving process improvements in an operational environment
Ability to balance hands-on operational oversight with a continuous improvement mindset
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
