Wolters Kluwer Legal and Regulatory Benelux is transforming its portfolio into a unified ecosystem of expert solutions called InView. This includes integrating new AI enabled products and recent acquisitions such as Libra.
To support this transformation, we are creating a single, future ready commercial blueprint that replaces a fragmented landscape of business models, pricing structures and product entitlements.


The Associate Director Pricing and Business Models defines and implements this blueprint. The role brings clarity, consistency and growth potential to the commercial model across the entire Benelux portfolio.


You will shape how value is created, delivered and captured in the InView ecosystem. You will influence Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance and the full Benelux MT.


This is a strategic role with strong impact but without direct reports. You work closely with a dedicated analyst who supports financial modelling and data analytics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership of the business model and pricing framework

  • Create and roll out a harmonized business model and pricing strategy for all Benelux products, including AI enabled components and newly integrated solutions such as Libra.

  • Translate complex legacy structures into a simple and scalable commercial architecture.

  • Ensure clear definitions for user types, subscription structures, packaging, discounting principles and value metrics.

Integration within the InView transformation

  • Guide monetization strategy during the migration of local products in Belgium and the Netherlands into the InView ecosystem.

  • Validate commercial assumptions for new features in early product development and shape their pricing logic before build decisions are made.

  • Ensure that product innovations are supported by credible value and pricing insights.

Cross functional influence and governance

  • Partner with Product, Sales, Finance and Marketing to ensure consistent adoption of the pricing and business model framework.

  • Strengthen pricing governance and work with Sales leadership to create transparency and discipline in deal guidance and discounting.

  • Provide clear rationale behind pricing decisions and translate value arguments into simple, compelling narratives.

Commercial support

  • Support Sales teams with price guidance, deal review and fact-based negotiation arguments.

Analysis and continuous improvement

  • Monitor key pricing and portfolio metrics and translate findings into actionable recommendations for Product and the MT.

  • Benchmark our commercial model against market practices, competitor movements and emerging pricing trends in AI and subscription software.

Contribution to leadership

  • Act as a member of the Product Management MT and contribute to the three year strategy and annual planning.

  • Promote a value based pricing culture and coach colleagues on pricing principles and commercial storytelling.

Success Measures

  • Adoption of the harmonized pricing and business model framework by Product, Sales and Finance.

  • Clarity and consistency in commercial decision making.

  • Improved pricing governance and reduced deviations.

  • Successful monetization roll out for InView and related AI enabled solutions.

  • Positive feedback from the Product MT and commercial leaders.

DESIRED PROFILE

Experience

  • 5-8 years in subscription-based software pricing, business modelling or strategy.

  • Experience in consulting or a pricing focused role is welcome if combined with (a desire for) hands on execution.

  • Strong exposure to cross functional environments in complex organizations.

  • Proven track record in influencing senior stakeholders and navigating commercial governance.

  • Understanding of product management, sales processes and financial principles.

  • Experience with pricing for AI based products is a plus.

Skills

  • Strong analytical and conceptual strength with the ability to simplify complexity.

  • Clear and structured communicator able to create alignment across diverse teams.

  • Strong commercial judgement and credibility in discussions with senior leadership.

  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and driving disciplined adoption of pricing frameworks.

  • Ability to convert data and value insights into compelling commercial narratives.

Education

  • Bachelor or Master in Business, Economics, Engineering or related field.

Practical Information

  • Reports to the VP Product for Benelux.

  • Works closely with a dedicated analyst for financial modelling support.

  • Two days per week on site in Mechelen or in the Netherlands.

  • Regular presence at both Benelux locations. (once every 3 weeks)

  • English required. Dutch strongly preferred.
