Job Description

The Associate Director, Patient and Office Engagement is responsible for supporting strategy and leading execution of integrated patient and office engagement initiatives that empower patients and office stakeholders to confidently navigate therapy initiation, access, and adherence.

This individual will support the end‑to‑end patient and office engagement vision, spanning Office Engagement and Patient Marketing, and ensure tight orchestration across the full patient journey from awareness through sustained treatment.

This role reports to the Executive Director, Brand Strategy

Key Responsibilities

  • Support/help define the patient and office engagement strategy aligned to brand priorities and lifecycle needs.

  • Work closely with the Director, Patient and Office Engagement Marketing

  • Translate strategy into execution roadmaps with milestones, dependencies, and KPIs.

  • Oversee development of scalable, modular patient and office content across channels.

  • Partner cross‑functionally to improve initiation, time‑to‑therapy, and adherence.

  • Support field training and enablement, ensuring access and reimbursement information is clearly represented and consistently communicated.

  • Establish dashboards and optimize programs using performance data.

  • Guide compliant innovation while ensuring PRC/MLR alignment.

  • Make trade-off decisions across initiatives to maximize impact within budget constraints.

  • Operate with a high degree of autonomy, making day-to-day strategic and executional decisions aligned to brand objectives.

  • Lead complex, multi-workstream programs spanning patient marketing, office engagement, access education, and field enablement.

  • Coordinate multiple agencies, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver integrated solutions across the patient journey.

  • Influence senior cross-functional stakeholders (Brand, Access, Medical, Legal/Regulatory, Field Leadership) to align on strategy and execution.

  • Represent office engagement perspectives in brand planning, governance forums, and lifecycle discussions

  • Lead cross-functional and matrixed teams to deliver outcomes without formal reporting authority

  • Support capability building across patient and office engagement functions.

 

Qualifications

  • 6–8+ years pharmaceutical marketing, patient engagement, or access experience.

  • Demonstrated experience leading strategy and execution.

  • Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders without authority.

  • Experience building or evolving patient and/or office engagement capabilities.

  • Strong executive communication and prioritization skills.

The expected base pay range for this position is $162K - $204K. Please note that base pay offered may vary depending on factors including job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

 

This position is eligible for a bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable program. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion.
