About the role:

This is an exciting time to join the Plasma Derived Therapies business unit, Neuromuscular franchise! Join our team as the Associate Director, Neuromuscular HCP Marketing Lead where you will lead the launch of the Neuromuscular portfolio products for CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating Polyneuropathy). This is a highly visible and dynamic role within a launch brand that will report directly to the Head of Marketing, Neuromuscular Franchise and will oversee a team of 2 Senior Managers. You will develop strategies and execute tactical plans, accountable for driving growth of the Neuromuscular portfolio products for CIDP by delivering an integrated HCP customer strategy across personal and non-personal marketing channels, in partnership with cross-functional partners. Accountable for leading and developing the brand HCP marketing team, all HCP promotional strategies and materials, messaging, playbooks. You will be also responsible for the execution and the pull-through of the strategy across the field teams and external customers.

How you will contribute:

  • Develop HCP marketing strategy including overall value proposition creation and associated messaging for the Neuromuscular portfolio products for CIDP launch

  • Lead a team of 2 senior managers and oversee management of key marketing initiatives, including sales collateral development, HCP professional education, congress strategy, salesforce targeting/segmentation, territory effectiveness improvements/tools, and HCP digital/non-personal tactics

  • Collaborate with cross-functional Customer Engagement team on omnichannel and market access related initiatives

  • Collaborate with HyHub Launch lead to ensure pull through in neuromuscular HCP strategy

  • Oversee the direction and deliverables of multiple priorities ensuring internal stakeholder alignment, across agency partners, and cross functional partners including PRT, medical affairs, patient services, compliance, and IT

  • Interface with KOLs and advocacy organization stakeholders

  • Manage multiple agencies from strategic brief ideation through to delivery, holding them accountable to Takeda USBU policies, standards, timelines and budgets

  • Partner closely with field teams to ensure message pull through, provide support, monitor performance, and uncover opportunities and issues in execution through leadership of sales advisory council meetings

  • Collaborate with cross functional partners to enhance sales force effectiveness data, targeting, and lead generation tools

  • Optimize strategies and tactics based on effectiveness of marketing initiatives, insights, and learnings

  • Maintain marketing budget and partner with Finance to ensure accurate reporting

  • Contribute to annual strategic planning process and lead tactical planning

  • Lead management of sales collateral inventory and utilization

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required

  • 8+ years of experience with increasing responsibilities in sales, marketing or related function required

  • 4+ years of dedicated experience engaging with HCPs preferred

  • Deep understanding of a brand/franchise strategy and how to effectively engage HCPs; have a strong understanding of business, finance and risks/benefits of decisions

  • Experience in marketing strategy and tactic design with an ability to communicate ideas to internal colleagues and external partners

  • Broad-based HCP Marketing knowledge from non-personal (e.g., designing/running a CRM program) to field sales (e.g. managing deployment of assets)

  • Strong creative and conceptual thinking skills that can translate to formal strategy development and execution pull-through

  • Excellent analytical skills and comfortability with leveraging data to make decisions

  • Strong results orientated work ethic with a demonstrated ability to successfully lead project teams and manage tight timelines

  • Understand market trends, financial data, customer needs and assess new information quickly

  • Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization, including leadership briefs

  • Knowledge of the healthcare regulatory environment and demonstrated ability to place controls to ensure compliance with guidelines.

  • Successfully work within a highly matrixed organization and cross-functional teams

  • Comfortable with emerging technologies, adaptability to digital tools, and openness to AI-enabled processes.

Preferred:

  • MBA

  • Pharmaceutical industry experience

  • Experience working on a product launch

  • Experience in a rare disease state

Travel:

  • Ability to travel ~20%

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$153,600.00 - $241,340.00


The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location. 

U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/ or long-term incentives.
