We are seeking an Associate Director, Marketing Services to lead our business across Romania and Moldova. This is a pivotal role that blends strategic leadership, commercial ownership, client engagement, making it an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious Marketing and Sales Leader.
What You’ll Be Doing
As the Associate Director, Marketing Services, you will own the marketing service portfolio in Romania and Moldova. The portfolio includes various channels for Pharma Clients to reach Healthcare Professionals (HCPs), such as email, mail, consent collection, tele-detailing, telemarketing, virtual reps, and virtual or hybrid meetings.
Key accountabilities:
Commercial Leadership
Develop and execute a clear, impactful sales plan aligned to country goals for the existing marketing services but also build new offerings in the omnichannel sector.
Lead the region to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets.
Build new business, expand existing accounts, and support complex deal cycles.
Guide and participate in major contract renewals and negotiations.
Gather and share strategic market intelligence to shape IQVIA’s offerings.
Strategic Partnership & Collaboration
Work closely with country Sales Leads, GMs, and the regional teams to ensure alignment and transparency.
Run regular operating cadence calls to identify risks, opportunities, and strategic actions.
Contribute to monthly forecasting and annual planning cycles.
Partner with global teams to ensure solution alignment and innovation.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for a proven Sales and Marketing Manager who brings both strategic vision and hands‑on execution excellence:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience).
Strong track record in sales and marketing, serving clients from pharmaceutical industry, driving growth and hitting targets.
Demonstrated success in consultative selling and solving complex client challenges.
Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical marketplace and related industries.
Knowledge of IQVIA data, insights, or specialty products is a strong advantage.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.
Ability to operate with urgency, autonomy, and collaborative energy.
Experience identifying, shaping, and closing new business opportunities.
A results‑driven mindset with a passion for developing others.
Fluency in both Romanian and English mandatory.
