 WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

The Cash Analytics team is undertaking multiple capital market wide initiatives to handle central risk, pricing and analytics for cash products. The senior developer role includes Cash Analytics Service batch and live pricing system development and support. The individual will need to understand business requirements from the front office and market risk team, understand new business requirement to support new initiatives such as AI and ML side needs.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

  •  Lead high-performing pricing and risk development teams through mentorship, skill development, and career growth support for 2-3 team members, with focus on coaching junior developers

  •  Own local development team delivery, ensuring sprint goals and project milestones are met consistently while managing multi-project workloads and delivering high-quality results on time

  •  Partner with support, BA and QA teams to rapidly implement high-performance quantitative finance solutions, actively collaborating to understand new requirements and system functionalities

  •  Foster a quality-driven culture focused on delivering robust, accurate pricing and risk calculation systems through comprehensive testing strategies, automated frameworks, and rigorous code review processes

  •  Drive technical excellence and continuous improvement by establishing development standards, optimizing system performance, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance team productivity and system reliability

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?

Must have:

  • Expert proficiency in C#, Java, and Python for financial application development

  • Extensive experience with grid computing frameworks and distributed computing for large-scale calculations

  • Deep expertise in Risk Management Systems construction, enhancement, and best practice methodologies

  • Strong Object-Oriented programming, design patterns, and high-quality coding standards

  • Proficient in UNIX, Linux, and Windows with solid database administration and development experience

  • Proven success as results-oriented team leader motivating development teams under tight deadlines

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to engage technical and business stakeholders

  • Deadline-driven with ability to deliver high-quality results while managing multiple concurrent projects

Nice-to-have:

  • Experience in banking, capital markets, or other financial domains is strongly preferred.

  • Distributed caching technology.
