The Associate Director, Key Markets Communications, Specialty care is responsible for streamlining and coordinating communications initiatives across Global Specialty Care's priority markets, with a strong focus on building integrated country/global ways of working and capabilities to support priority launches while ensuring all communications efforts are measurable and deliver meaningful impact. This role provides strategic executive communications support to the Head of Markets, Specialty Care, building their reputation and visibility as an industry leader.
This role requires engaging with senior leaders, corporate communications, country communications and global product communications to achieve high impact communications execution. This role requires a breadth of communication experience, and proven success in working in a fast-paced environment and managing and influencing stakeholders without authority.
The Associate Director, Key Markets Communications partners closely with SPC Global Communications Head to organize and deliver key markets communications and engagement activities such as quarterly calls, annual summits, and ongoing digital touchpoints.
Supporting the Head of Key Markets requires participating in, providing strategic communications counsel, creating assets and content for town halls, leadership events, presentations, external speaking engagements, and complex multi-stakeholder communications.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to own and drive initiatives within a complex, global organization. This person must be highly organized, detail- and solution-oriented, creative, digitally savvy, and possess a collaborative mindset with strong cultural intelligence.
This individual will report to the Head of Executive, Digital, Internal Communications.

Main Responsibilities:
Executive Communications
Provides strategic communications counsel to the Head of Key Markets on internal and external communications opportunities and challenges
Develops high-quality content including speeches, presentations, town halls, Q&As, leadership messages, and thought leadership pieces
Manages the communications rhythm for the Head of Key Markets across multiple channels (LinkedIn, Viva Engage, all-hands meetings, country visits, leadership forums)
Anticipates communications needs and proactively develops content and strategies to support the Head of Key Markets' engagement with internal and external stakeholders
Collaborates with corporate communications and business operations to ensure messaging consistency and strategic alignment
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partners with communications colleagues across Specialty Care franchises, regions, and corporate affairs to drive best practices in ways of working
Establishes and maintains a consistent rhythm of business communications, ensuring stakeholders are informed and engaged
Coordinates cross-functional communications initiatives across priority markets, ensuring consistency while respecting regional nuances and cultural considerations
Develops and implements measurement frameworks to evaluate the effectiveness of global to local communications initiatives and optimize strategies based on insights

The Associate Director, Key Markets Communication, Specialty Care is a strategic, motivated, and talented communications leader.
Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic communication plans across a variety of channels
Proven experience in project management
Between 7-10 years of experience in corporate communications and/or a public relations agency environment
Between 7-10 years of writing and editing experience
Experience developing communications assets using a variety of digital platforms (SharePoint, Viva Engage, Canva, Contact Monkey, Sprinklr, etc.)
Proven ability to develop successful working relationships with a variety of teams, leaders and stakeholders
Proven ability to operate with a global mindset, with knowledge and respect for diverse backgrounds and perspectives
Ability to think creatively, offer solutions, and multi-task on a variety of projects simultaneously
Expert judgment in making critical decisions and recommendations on issues impacting brand and reputation
A self-starter who can deliver measurable results with minimal direction

The salary range for this position is:
$123,750.00 - $178,750.00All compensation will be determined commensurate with demonstrated experience. Employees may be eligible to participate in Company employee benefit programs. Additional benefits information can be found through the LINK.
