We have an opening for an Associate Director of Industrial Security in our Andover, MA office. This position will require that you be a self-starter who is capable of multitasking and efficiently managing your time with minimal supervision. Your strong business acumen and familiarization with product lifecycle management will be essential to your success. You will have uncompromising ethical standards. You must also have effective oral and written communication skills while collaborating vertically and horizontally within our organization hierarchy. You must also have the ability to travel (domestic and international), as needed

What You Will Do

  • Participate in RLPM (RTX Lifecycle Program Management) process to ensure adequate resources are commensurate for the security requirements of new business opportunities
  • Interpret emerging Industrial Security related policy, both internal and external, and provide direction on best courses of action for implementation through collaborative teaming
  • Consult with SBU leaders and other key stakeholders to ensure proper resources are allocated to meet current and upcoming program needs
  • Conduct long-term planning to meet global security compliance requirements, including serving as a senior security Subject Matter Expert (SME) on various teams 
  • Collaborate with internal and external security professionals and government customer organizations. 
  • Create/Approve Basis of Estimates (BoEs) for sole source and competitive bid opportunities 
  • Work closely with Raytheon & RTX peers to develop innovative methods, utilizing CORE, in support of continuous improvement to support evolving program execution needs 
  • Manage contract security reviews to ensure requirements are consistent with the 32 CFR Part 117, National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and various other government directives as specified in DD Form 254 and contract Statement of Work (SOW) for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) efforts. 
  • Assist SBU leadership and other security partners in resolving security risks and opportunities directly with the customer, suppliers, RTX teammates, and other stakeholders
  • Advise and assist local government, military, and company security professionals in resolving security matters at deployed field sites in the continental United States and abroad
  • Research and present positions on contractual documents, internal directives, and the NISPOM Rule for security applicability and impact analysis
  • Manage Program Security Budgets
  • Identify and mitigate potential security risks
  • Provide Leadership and Mentoring to Program Security Managers
  • Elevate security classification issues to local engineering and customer SMEs
  • Assist in preparation of transportation and various security plans, Concept of Operations (CONOPS), and Plan of Action and Milestones (POAM), as required for the movement, transportation, delivery, storage, and operation of classified information and hardware to domestic and international locations. 
  • Participate in, lead, and coordinate program security reviews, OPSEC and security classification training, and readiness exercises to various audiences and organizational levels

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience.
  • Experience collaborating vertically and horizontally within an organization hierarchy
  • Experience interacting positively with Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency or other Cognizant Security Agency personnel

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience leading a geographically dispersed workforce
  • Previous experience as a Facility Security Officer, Program Security Manager, Contractor Program Security Officer or Information System Security Manager with a strong track record of positive assessment results
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and experience briefing to senior leadership
  • Experience providing guidance, subject matter expertise and mentorship to security personnel
  • CORE Champion Certification
  • BOE Proficiency
  • Experience leveraging Physical Security, Industrial Security, Cybersecurity or Special Programs support of proposals

The salary range for this role is 157,200 USD - 298,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
