The Associate Director GTS Operational Lead for Europe & New Markets brings experience in planning and managing large-scale pharmaceutical and biotech systems, projects, programs and stakeholders. A solid track record of successful delivery in a global, geographically diverse environment is expected. The role will be well-versed in best practices, technology solutions and customer engagements.
Essential Functions of the Job:
Financial & Resource Management
Oversee and manage regional GTS budgets, according to LRP & AOP planning.
Conduct detailed contract reviews and implement cost-optimization initiatives through vendor performance and spend analysis.
Adhere to GTS geographical sourcing and vendor strategy (global and regional)
Operational Leadership
Lead day-to-day GTS operations across Europe and New Markets, ensuring service delivery meets business expectations.
Create and/or collaborate on global, regional and local SLAs and OLAs covering GTS capabilities and business expectations.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
Technology Enablement & Service Management
Ensure the delivery of technology services that optimize business processes, align with user needs, and enhance operational effectiveness.
Direct service management and customer support initiatives, including oversight of Level 2 Service Desk and on-site support teams.
Implement service improvement plans that strengthen service quality, responsiveness, and user satisfaction.
Governance, Compliance & Risk Management
Serve as an advisor on compliant GTS solutions, ensuring adherence to regulatory, data protection, and AI governance standards.
Oversee the timely implementation of compliance controls, achieving certification milestones ahead of schedule to mitigate operational risk.
Support audits across Europe and New Markets
Vendor & Partner Management
Manage vendor relationships and optimize Managed Service Provider (MSP) engagements across Europe and New Markets
Ensure contracts and service agreements (GTS and Business technology agreements) align with corporate objectives, performance standards, and financial targets.
Stakeholder Collaboration & Strategic Partnership
Act as a strategic liaison between GTS and business leaders, ensuring technology initiatives address evolving business priorities.
Lead collaborative discussions on procurement, lifecycle management, and process optimization to enhance efficiency and transparency.
Run routine QBR with stakeholders.
Project Management & Expansion Support
Lead technology projects across the Europe and New Markets regions in collaboration with GTS functions and/or Business functions
Apply standardized project management methodologies to improve delivery timelines and cross-functional coordination.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Identify emerging technologies and industry trends, proposing initiatives that strengthen BeOne’s technological advantage.
Lead quarterly innovation reviews to evaluate and adopt new solutions supporting business transformation.
Conduct regional roadshows and awareness sessions to promote technology adoption and digital maturity.
