The Global Process Owner (GPO) – People Services is responsible for defining, designing, and governing end-to-end HR service delivery processes across RTX’s global footprint. This role is pivotal in driving standardization, digital enablement, compliance, and continuous improvement to ensure seamless, data-driven employee experience.

You will act as the process design authority for core People Services processes, ensuring they are globally consistent, locally compliant, and digitally optimized through platforms such as Workday, ServiceNow, and other enabling technologies.

The role collaborates closely with HR leadership, Digital Technology, Centers of Excellence (CoEs), and regional delivery hubs to enable efficiency, scalability, and service excellence across Americas, EMEA, and APAC.

 

Key Responsibilities
 

Process Strategy & Design

  Define and own the global HR process architecture for People Services, ensuring alignment with RTX’s HR operating model and enterprise strategy

  Design and continuously refine end-to-end processes across the employee lifecycle — focusing on simplification, digitalization, and automation

  Benchmark against industry best practices and drive adoption of standard global processes while balancing regional and legal variations

  Develop service level frameworks, key performance indicators (KPIs), and governance models to measure process effectiveness

 

Transformation & Continuous Improvement

 Lead the pipeline of People Services process optimization initiatives that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and employee experience

 Partner with Digital and HR CoE’s to implement automation, AI, chatbots, and analytics solutions that reduce manual effort and improve service outcomes

 Drive process readiness for system implementations, integrations, and service migrations (e.g., Workday, ServiceNow)

 Build business cases to quantify cost savings, efficiency gains, and value realization from process enhancements

 

Governance & Compliance

 Ensure processes comply with global policies, data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, PDPA), and local legal requirements

 Maintain and govern process documentation, ownership, and version control across regions

 Partner with Compliance and Audit teams to address process gaps, risks, and controls

 

Stakeholder Engagement & Capability Building

 Serve as the trusted advisor and thought partner to regional delivery teams, CoEs, and HR leadership

Facilitate cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration to ensure alignment, adoption, and consistent execution

Mentor and coach local teams, driving process discipline, innovation, and ownership mindset

 

Qualifications & Experience

 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business, or related field

 15+ years of HR / HR Operations / Shared Services experience with strong exposure to global process design, transformation, and compliance

 Proven experience in GBS / Shared Services setup — including HR process ownership, digital HR tools, and data analytics

 Strong understanding of HR process transformation, transition methodologies, global employment laws, and governance frameworks

 Demonstrated expertise in using analytics and dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to drive decision-making and continuous improvement

 Hands-on experience with Workday, ServiceNow, and related digital HR platforms

 Strong data analytics and excel skills for process analysis is a must
