General Description:

BeOne is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead ABAP Developer to join our dynamic ERP solutions team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and implementing robust SAP ERP solutions, with a strong focus on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) integration and innovation. As a technical leader, you will guide a team of developers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and future-ready ERP applications.

This role has hybrid work pattern, 3 days per week from our Warsaw office with 2 days remote. Flexible working hours required to collaborate with global teams across China, Europe, North America and LATAM. The role is based in Poland time zone and may require early morning and evening meeting so support cross-regional coordination.

Essential Functions of the job:

Solution Design: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and deployment of SAP ABAP solutions within ERP projects, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. Standards: Create and maintain standards related to ABAP development leveraging the latest best practices to ensure compliance from Developers working in the environment Integration Management: Architect and implement integration scenarios leveraging SAP BTP services, including SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Fiori, and SAP UI5. Collaboration: Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and project managers to deliver seamless ERP functionalities and enhancements. Leadership: Mentor and guide other developers, conduct code reviews, and establish development standards within the team. Problem Resolution: Optimize and troubleshoot complex ABAP programs, ensuring performance and scalability. Innovation: Stay current with SAP technology trends, especially BTP innovations, and proactively recommend solutions to enhance business value. Execution: Support migration and upgrade projects, including S/4HANA transformations and cloud enablement initiatives. Implementation: Document technical specifications, solutions, and processes in accordance with BeOne’s quality standards.

Supervisory Responsibilities:  

This position includes managing supplier, coaching and mentoring of junior staff with training / orientation / qualification and development plan when required.

Other Qualifications:  

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, including experience as a technical lead.
• Proven expertise in SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform), including application development, integration, and extension.
• Strong knowledge of SAP modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, etc.) and experience in S/4HANA environments.
• Experience with SAP Fiori, UI5, CDS views, OData services and SAP embedded analytics enablement. .
• Experience with SAP data products (BW, Datasphere, BDC) implementation and integration is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with Waterfall, Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for SAP development.
• Familiarity with SAP PI/PO, cloud integration, REST APIs, and event-driven architecture.
• Certifications in SAP ABAP, SAP BTP, or related technologies are a plus.
