Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager to lead a multidisciplinary team in Budapest delivering corporate real estate strategy services. This individual will combine strong people leadership with deep expertise in corporate real estate and a comprehensive understanding of the real estate life cycle.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on corporate real estate experience, strategic consulting capability, and technical acumen to guide clients through portfolio strategy, transaction support, project execution, and ongoing asset optimization.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of consulting and technical professionals.
  • Drive collaboration across global team to ensure integrated service delivery
  • Set performance objectives, manage resource allocation, and oversee professional development
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and client focus
  • Liaise with internal and external clients to develop an understanding of their needs and requirements; translate business objectives into real estate strategies aligned with financial and operational goals
  • Lead client reviews and discussions on work product; incorporate feedback into broader future deliverables as relevant for continuous improvement
  • Conduct portfolio and benchmarking analysis – understand and present through dynamic dashboards a client’s portfolio performance and advise on savings opportunities
  • Support location analysis – the combination of non-economic and economic analysis (demographic profile, labour analysis, competitors and clients mapping, financial appraisals)
  • Drive real estate scenario analysis and sensitivity testing
  • Prepare and present reports to be distributed to senior management and clients.
  • Drive the creation of bespoke analysis and tools in response to specific client requirements
  • Manage projects on a day-to-day basis, ensuring high quality, accurate, timely deliverable execution
  • Support recruiting efforts
  • Liaise with and mentor matrixed reports
  • Assure peer review of analysis made by junior members of the team and ensuring accuracy
  • Onboard / Train new and junior members of the team

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of corporate real estate experience, preferably within a consultancy, occupier organization, or professional services firm
  • BSC or BA degree in Economic or a quantitative subject
  • Excellent communication in English
  • Team leadership and managerial skills
  • Strong Excel and modelling skills
  • Financial acumen, including understanding of lease structures, capital expenditures, and total cost of occupancy a plus
  • Familiarity with Power Point, Power BI is strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in developing and maintaining complex models is an advantage
  • Great attention to detail, diligent and focused
  • Committed, able to work to deadlines, prioritise and juggle between tasks
  • Previous experience in the commercial real estate industry required
  • Ability to distill the main problem from client conversations and ideate & deliver a solution
  • Ability to demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the corporate real estate life cycle, including:
    • Strategic planning and portfolio optimization
    • Site acquisition and transaction management
    • Renewal, disposition, and exit strategies
