LOCATION: London

About this opportunity

We’re committed to using our scale, capabilities and partnerships to help shape the Real Estate communities of tomorrow, and we’re looking for a high impact, client focused Associate Director to help drive a London based Real Estate Coverage team.

You'll work within the Coverage team, alongside a Relationship Director and Associate helping to develop ideas and solutions for clients by supporting the built environment including decarbonisation, investment, development and broader client needs. You’ll drive client led origination and growth, nurture key relationships and champion the One Lloyds franchise in market. It’s a chance to sharpen your marketing and relationship skills while balancing risk, profitability and capital efficiency.  Whilst building trusting and collaborative relationships through effective communication at all levels.

Sector knowledge will be key, and we're seeking a highly motivated, organised individual who cares deeply about delivering for clients. This is an SMCR-certified role; applicants will be required to complete the necessary training accreditation.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Client Relationship & Credit Stewardship: Lead and support Real Estate client relationships and credit oversight, identifying growth opportunities through deep client insight.
  • Origination, Business Development & Market Engagement: Focus on driving and supporting systematic origination; including a broad range of financial, marketing and industry sector research tasks and up to date information on customer relationships.  Also supporting account planning, and representing LBG at industry events across London and the South.
  • Collaborative Solution Delivery: Partner with our Structuring, Asset Management, and product teams to deliver standout solutions, ensuring risks are managed and governance upheld, alongside wider group partners, Corporate Markets, Scottish Widows, Lex and Global Transaction Banking and Consumer Finance.
  • Operational Excellence & Submission Quality: Maintain accurate Sales and Risk systems as well as disciplined portfolio management both directly and indirectly across the portfolios you will support, monitoring and controlling risk governance and producing clear, high-quality credit and pricing submissions.
  • Strategic Support: As one of the Associate Directors in the team, support senior leadership, collaborate and drive performance and development of both self and colleagues, and contribute to broader RE&H goals.
  • ESG & Regulatory Compliance: Support clients on ESG and Net Zero strategies while ensuring compliance with MIFID, Financial Promotions, and FCA standards.

Why Lloyds Banking Group?

What we need from you?

  • Excellent customer relationship leadership skills
  • Real Estate sector knowledge and proactive approach to delivering for clients

  • Ability to work within governance and regulatory frameworks including SMCR requirements
  • Previous corporate banking experience

So, we'll only ever ask you to provide confidential or sensitive information once you have formally been invited along to an interview or accepted a verbal offer to join us which is when we run our background checks.  We'll always explain what we need and why, with any request coming from a trusted Lloyds Banking Group person.
