Associate Director, Insights & Analytics This role will lead commercial insights and analytics for the European product portfolio, driving performance tracking, market understanding, and data-driven decision-making across in-line and pipeline assets.
The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex data into clear insights. S/he will play a key role in shaping commercial performance and strategy across the European product portfolio. This position delivers actionable insights by integrating analytics, market research, and competitive intelligence to inform high-impact business decisions.
Essential Functions of the job:
Commercial Analytics & Performance Insights
Lead analysis of commercial performance across markets, identifying risks and opportunities
Deliver insights for monthly and quarterly business reviews, enabling data-driven decision-making
Develop and refine analytics solutions, frameworks and tools to track performance & inform forecasting
Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for cross-functional stakeholders
Market Research & Competitive Intelligence
Synthesize primary and secondary data sources and competitive intelligence into strategic insights
Identify key business questions and suggest appropriate insights solutions
Participate in and support the operations of market research activities
Strategic Business Partnering
Partner with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, and Finance teams to understand business needs
Identify opportunities to enhance brand performance through analytics and insights
Collaborate with forecasting teams to inform assumptions and scenario planning
Drive alignment across global, regional, and local teams
Qualifications:
+8 years’ work experience in a Commercial/Marketing analytics and insights role in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries
Experience in and understanding of hematology and/or solid tumor oncology disease areas and indications relevant to BeOne
Experience influencing senior stakeholders
Hands-on experience with analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Power BI, Tableau) and data environments
Strong understanding of commercial data (sales, patient flows, access, etc.)
Excels in a fast-paced, results-driven, highly accountable environment, often with a high degree of ambiguity
Curiosity, problem solving skills, business acumen, industry knowledge and project management skills
Experience across multiple European markets
Fluent in English; other languages advantageous.
