Join Zip’s Marketing team, a group of creative, analytical and forward-thinking specialists who power the growth engine behind millions of customers and tens of thousands of merchants. As part of this collaborative team, you’ll help shape how our brand shows up in market and how we connect people to fair, flexible and transparent financial experiences.
In this role, you will lead the strategy and optimisation of Zip’s major acquisition channels, driving measurable customer and merchant growth. You’ll define the roadmap across SEM, paid social, affiliates, SEO and emerging digital opportunities, ensuring every initiative is grounded in insight, experimentation and a deep understanding of our audience. Alongside customer acquisition, you’ll spearhead merchant lifecycle marketing, designing high-impact programs that support onboarding, activation and long-term engagement. Working closely with Product, Data, Engineering, Brand and Merchant teams, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how Zip attracts, converts and scales its customer and merchant base.
What you’ll own
- Leading the strategy, execution and continuous optimisation of core acquisition channels including Google Ads, Meta Ads, SEM, affiliate marketing and emerging digital platforms
- Owning end-to-end campaign management including planning, budgeting, forecasting, performance analysis and reporting across customer and merchant initiatives
- Enhancing and growing Zip’s affiliate program by optimising partner performance, strengthening attribution and expanding the partner ecosystem
- Designing and testing creative assets, messaging and landing page experiences that improve conversion and create a seamless user journey
- Defining the measurement framework for customer and merchant acquisition, uncovering opportunities to improve CAC, ROI, conversion rates and engagement
- Championing a test-and-learn mindset by designing growth experiments and using insights to shape future strategy
- Leading merchant lifecycle marketing across onboarding, activation, engagement and retention to drive deeper utilisation and long-term merchant success
- Collaborating with Product, Data, Engineering and Merchant teams to prioritise and deliver growth initiatives with measurable impact
- Providing leadership, mentorship and best-practice guidance across our customer and merchant marketing disciplines
What you’ll bring to the team
- 8 years experience in acquisition, performance or growth marketing with hands-on expertise across multi-channel digital campaigns
- Experience managing affiliate programs and partnerships with a strong understanding of attribution, partner optimisation and performance measurement
- An analytical and commercially minded approach with confidence using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager
- The ability to move seamlessly between strategic leadership and hands-on execution to drive outcomes at pace
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to influence across teams and seniority levels
- Experience in fast-paced, product-led environments. Exposure to fintech or app-based businesses is valuable
- A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
