As an Associate Data Analyst on the Global Merchandise Planning Insights team, you will play a foundational support role in helping the team manage data, tools, and reporting processes across global product categories. Based in India, this entry-level position is ideal for someone beginning their career in planning or analytics, with a strong interest in retail and a desire to learn and grow in a global environment. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in updating and maintaining merchandise planning tools and templates under guidance. 

  • Help organize seasonal assortment data and planning inputs. 

  • Support preparation of basic weekly reports tracking sales and inventory. 

  • Participate in compiling performance summaries and seasonal recaps. 

  • Help prepare presentation materials for team meetings and global reviews. 

  • Track simple metrics for key product stories and initiatives. 

  • Conduct basic data checks and assist with ad hoc requests. 

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data accuracy and consistency. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (or final year student) in Business, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field. 

  • Internship or experience in retail, analytics, or planning. 

  • Basic understanding of retail metrics (e.g., sales, inventory, margin). 

  • Proficiency in Excel; exposure to Tableau or Power BI is a bonus. 

  • Detail-oriented, eager to learn, and comfortable asking questions. 

  • Ability to work with global teams and adapt to different time zones. 

 

 

Additional Details: 

  • This role is based in India and will work closely with remote global teams. 

  • Flexibility to collaborate across time zones is essential.
