About you and this role

The Opportunity: Enabling Enterprise Solutions Through Technology .We are seeking an Associate Data Analyst to join Dow’s Analytics & AI Hub (AAIH) team. In this role, you will work closely with project teams to develop, deploy, and maintain software and analytics solutions that support enterprise objectives.  

You will play a critical role in ensuring successful delivery of initiatives tied to Dow’s AI Catalyst and Transform to Outperform strategies. This includes designing and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementing improvements based on feedback, and maintaining strong documentation standards to ensure solutions meet client needs.  

Responsibilities

Associate Data Analyst should possess strong technical and analytical skills with the ability to collaborate on:

• Develop and Deploy Solutions: Collaborate with project teams to design, implement, and maintain enterprise software and analytics solutions.  
• Design and Execute UAT: Create user acceptance testing plans, coordinate testing activities, and implement changes based on UAT findings.  
• Ensure Documentation Quality: Maintain comprehensive documentation for solutions, processes, and changes to ensure transparency and compliance.  
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with developers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.  
• Implement Continuous Improvements: Identify opportunities for enhancements and ensure timely implementation of improvements.  
• Support Governance and Standards: Ensure adherence to IT architecture, security, and compliance standards throughout solution delivery.  
• Communicate Effectively: Provide clear updates and documentation to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding of project progress.  

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field.  
• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in IT analysis, software development, or related roles.  
• Core Technical Expertise (2–4 Years Demonstrated Experience). 

Your skills

• Experience with Enterprise Analytics platforms and cloud technologies.  
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and version control systems (e.g., Git).  
• Knowledge of data visualization tools like PowerBI (DAX, PowerQuery and RLS)  and basic data analysis techniques.  
• Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Understanding of development, testing, and deployment processes.  
• Testing & Quality Assurance: Experience designing and executing UAT and implementing improvements.  
• Programming & Tools: Familiarity with languages such as Python, SQL, or similar, and experience with enterprise software platforms.  
• Documentation & Compliance: Ability to create clear, detailed documentation and ensure adherence to governance standards.  
• Agile Delivery: Exposure to Agile methodologies and collaborative work environments.
