Job Description

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a chartered Associate Project Manager to join our growing Leeds Project Management team. This role focuses on the delivery of large-scale regeneration, mixed-use and refurbishment projects, working with public and private sector clients across the North of England.

This is not a CAT B office fit-out role. The successful candidate will work primarily on CAT A commercial offices, industrial and logistics assets, town centre regeneration schemes and major refurbishments, providing end-to-end project management services from feasibility through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Lead and manage projects through the full lifecycle, from feasibility and design through procurement, construction and handover.

  • Deliver CAT A, refurbishment and redevelopment projects across commercial office, industrial, logistics and mixed-use sectors.

  • Manage cost, programme, risk and quality to ensure successful project outcomes.

  • Act as Employer’s Agent or Contract Administrator where required.

  • Coordinate consultant teams, contractors and stakeholders to ensure aligned delivery.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as a key client interface, building trusted relationships with investors, developers, occupiers and public sector bodies.

  • Chair client and project team meetings and provide clear, accurate reporting.

  • Support client decision-making with commercially sound advice.

Commercial & Governance

  • Prepare and manage project programmes, cost plans and procurement strategies.

  • Monitor and manage change control, risk registers and reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with internal governance, contractual obligations and statutory requirements.

Leadership & Team Contribution

  • Support and mentor junior project managers and surveyors within the team.

  • Contribute to team culture, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

  • Assist with business development activity, fee proposals and client pitches.

Skills & Experience

  • Chartered professional with MRICS or equivalent (e.g. MAPM, MCIOB).

  • Strong project management experience within a consultancy or client-side environment.
