Reporting into the Vice President, Corporate Finance, this is an in-person opportunity based in Toronto, Ontario. As an Associate, Corporate Finance, you will play a vital role in our organization's strategy in capital allocation, capital markets, and strategic initiatives and M&A. This position involves financial modelling and forecasting, board and management reporting, and other important analysis as it relates to capital markets and strategic initiatives. The Associate, Corporate Finance, closely collaborates with various stakeholders, including our new private equity (GTCR) ownership, senior management, Board of Directors, and others, to support the execution of our strategic direction and financial goals.

In this role, you will

Drive Financial Analysis and Modelling

  • Design, refine, and maintain financial models (e.g. 10 year forecast) to evaluate business performance, capital structure optimization, liquidity planning, debt and equity issuance, refinancing opportunities, and alternative financing structures.

  • Deliver data-driven scenario analysis, sensitivity modelling, and valuation impact assessments to inform senior leadership decision-making.

  • Play a key role in developing the corporate five-year outlook by integrating business unit inputs, assessing macroeconomic and industry trends, stress-testing assumptions, and building scenario frameworks to guide strategic decisions.

Partner on Capital Markets Execution

  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Treasury, Legal, and external advisors to monitor market conditions, benchmark peers, and prepare transaction-ready financial analyses. Support debt and equity investor communications and provide strategic recommendations to strengthen the company’s positioning.

Contribute to Key Reporting

  • Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual materials, including Board, management, and lender materials. Ensure accuracy, consistency with financial results, and alignment with corporate messaging.

Work Cross-Collaboratively

  • Liaise and engage with various functions such as FP&A, marketing, legal, operations, technology, and other, to drive reporting outcomes and target accountability.

Provide Strategic & Ad Hoc Analysis

  • Deliver high-impact financial analyses, valuation assessments, industry research, and strategic insights to the Board of Directors, executive leadership, investors, and cross-functional stakeholders. Translate complex financial data into clear, concise, decision-ready recommendations.

What we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent

  • 2-3 years of experience in investment banking or private equity

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel/financial modeling and Powerpoint

  • Strong accounting and financial statement knowledge

  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner

The salary range for this position is $125,000 - 165,000 CAD annually. Offers within this range are determined based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as future internal equity considerations.
