As an Associate Copy Editor, you’ll:
Support public and private sector clients in tackling issues such energy efficiency, disease prevention, child welfare, disaster preparedness, and more.
Demonstrate exceptional editorial skills, including correcting issues with grammar, spelling, punctuation, accuracy, layout, style, and consistency.
Provide editorial review on a wide variety of materials, including online and social content, reports, and marketing collateral.
Collaborate with other editors, other Creative Studio members, and account teams to develop and deliver exceptional work.
Ensure that all work is consistent with established brand guidelines and strategy, and maintain up-to-date editorial guidelines.
Promote and update editorial policies, standards, and procedures to ensure adherence to them across the agency.
You’ll need:
Two to five years of professional experience in editing; government, advertising agency, or consultancy experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree in English, advertising, communications, or a related field.
Additional Professional Attributes:
Exceptional editorial skills, including proofreading and copy editing marketing copy, fact checking, and reviewing layout.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, and shared workspaces.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Familiarity with adherence to editorial style guides; knowledge of AP style preferred.
Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced team environment, juggling multiple competing deadlines.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:
$55,665.00 - $94,631.00Nationwide Remote Office (US99)
