Associate Content Developer (Arabic Language)
Thomson Reuters is seeking a motivated professional to support internal product and development teams by assisting with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication through financial reporting. This role offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in business analysis, testing, and implementation within a global organization delivering trusted information solutions.
About the Role:
Content Development:
Provide assistance on the development of the reporting templates (focus on ARABIC templates) from provided content specifications as instructed by senior developers
Development and review of supporting tools and documentation
Proper usage of defect management system to track issues
Content Testing:
Assist in the testing of reporting templates to ensure high quality standards and development protocols are being followed.
Assist in the systems testing of the platform to ensure requirements are met.
Escalate issues to development manager in timely manner.
Proper usage of defect management system to track issues
Content Support:
Handling and resolving 3rd level support issues escalated to the content team from the support team
Providing assistance and advice to support team members on complex Accounts Production issues
Understand client needs and environment
Proactively explore opportunities to improve client service
Training: Assist with training internal groups on the Accounts Production application
Release Documentation: Assist in the preparation of release documentation including release notes, client and internal communications.
Other Activities like
Assisting with the product distribution process
Assisting with special events and initiatives
Development, maintenance & distribution of Order Forms and Customer Agreements
About You:
Experience Required : 1-2 Years of relevant experience in accounting systems or financial reporting.
Candidate must have strong Arabic Language skills
Knowledge of accounting software like book -keeping and tally would be preferred.
Knowledge or experience working on Onesource product would be an added advantage.
Knowledge or experience in technical language like HTML and XML will be helpful.
Working knowledge of MS Excel or Word.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. In particular, ability to see problems objectively (e.g.: from clients’ viewpoint)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
Ability to work in a team oriented environment
