Job Description:

TD Securities is a leading corporate, investment and transaction bank offering a wide range of capital markets and transaction banking products and services to corporate, government, and financial institution clients. Our team operates out of 32 cities around the globe through Global Transaction Banking, Corporate and Investment Banking, Global Markets and Research & Strategy services.

TD Securities has embarked on a multi-year digital transformation of the transaction banking product suite focused on building solutions for our corporate and financial institution clients at scale. The Transaction Banking Product Management team is responsible for expanding existing product capabilities with a unique opportunity to build new payments and treasury products end-to-end at enterprise scale.

Market Management partners closely with Product and Capability leads, as well as Coverage, Marketing, Communication and Public & Corporate Affairs across TD. The team plays a critical role by strengthening how TD understands the market, and helping ensure that capabilities, both existing and emerging, are consistently understood and effectively positioned in the market.

Job Description/Accountabilities

This role supports the Market Management team in achieving a key objective: to enhance the Transaction Banking brand both internally and externally. You will be instrumental in providing the analytical and operational foundation for conference strategy execution – from identifying the right events to attend and/or sponsor, to coordinating internal readiness and capturing outcomes that reinforce TD Transaction Banking’s reputation as a thought leader and innovative partner.

You will help ensure our conference participation and sponsorship investments are intentional, well-governed, and measurable. Your work will enable cross-functional collaboration, improve operational rigor, and support strategic decisions that strengthen Transaction Banking’s market positioning.

Accountabilities include but are not limited to the following categories:

  • Conference Strategy & Planning
  • Maintain and evolve a cross line-of-business (LOB) database of conference attendance, sponsorship, and spend.
  • Project, monitor, and report conference spend across Transaction Banking LOBs.
  • Conduct regular analysis of the conference landscape including legacy, specialty, or emerging opportunities.
  • Build and apply frameworks to assess value (e.g., objectives, ROI, and impact measurement).

  • Sponsorship Management & Vendor Coordination
  • Review merits of conference sponsorship proposals for the LOBs based on business objectives and purpose for attending.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure effective negotiation with partners and delegation of benefits across LOBs as appropriate (aligned to objectives of attending/sponsoring)
  • Coordinate and project manage with third-party communications (event organizers, booth vendors, logistics providers, etc.).

  • Speaking Engagements, Awards, & Thought Leadership Enablement
  • Manage deadlines and coordination for proposals, including preparation, consolidation, and submission.
  • Maintain and refresh a list of internal and external speakers, projects, and nominees; research themes, audiences, and potential speaker/awardee fit.
  • Coordinate within TD and external speakers to ensure they are registered/booked/approved and support the review of talking points.

  • Briefing Notes, Knowledge Sharing & Post-Event Outcomes
  • Coordinate updates to event/meeting briefing notes and support the creation of conference materials (product updates, booth maps, client invitations, etc.).
  • Be on-site at important conferences to tend the welcome desk at TD booths, refresh meeting rooms, coordinate speakers, manage vendors, etc.
  • Coordinate post-conference knowledge sharing among attendees and ensure dissemination of key outputs across LOBs via appropriate channels.
  • Ensure learnings from conferences feed into Transaction Banking thought leadership and inform future speaker proposals and event strategies (including post-event debriefs and summaries).

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

This role is ideal for a highly organized individual with strong task management, prioritization, and attention to detail, as well as excellent communication skills, and an interest in financial services, event management, branding, and market strategy.

We are open to considering individuals from a variety of professional and academic backgrounds; however, an undergraduate degree and 3-5 years of relevant work experience are required. Knowledge of Transaction Banking is strongly preferred.

Successful candidates may be assessed through a case study as well as several rounds of interviews.

Is This Role Right for You?

  • Are you naturally curious and eager to learn about transaction banking, branding, and market trends?
  • Do you have a positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment?
  • Do you enjoy turning messy inputs into structured plans, trackers, and repeatable processes?
  • Do you take personal accountability for your work and see challenges as opportunities to grow?
  • Do you like working with external partners and coordinating details that impact senior leaders?
  • Are you comfortable juggling multiple deadlines across stakeholders and workstreams?
  • Are you excited by the idea of helping a team prove event value with clearer objectives, measurement, and post-event learning?

If these questions resonate with you, we would love to hear from you!
