About you
As a real estate sales professional, you will collaborate on the daily operation of the team’s business, expanding your knowledge in all aspects of commercial leasing, marketing, and sales – not to mention a unique combination of financial and research skills. The individual will be in this role for a period of two years and then transition to a junior broker on the team. Ultimately, you bring a passion for real estate, strong intellectual capabilities, and demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
In this role you will…
Provide general administrative support for the team.
Create a variety of presentation materials and act as point of contact for all marketing related materials.
Be heavily involved with cold calling, prospecting for new business and following up on leads and opportunities to assist in deals.
Maintain company databases to track prospects and business opportunities.
Coordinate supporting materials for offer packages and review proposals, leases, and related documents.
Prepare and distribute presentations, reports, proposals, spreadsheets, correspondence, and other documents.
Have a great attitude in learning the business and local marketplace by attending local business and industry events, networking, and participating in client meetings.
What you bring
1+ years of relevant sales experience (both via phone and in-person canvassing), quality internship experience is considered.
Licensed Real Estate practitioner in the District of Columbia (or in process of obtaining). The role will require candidate to be licensed 6 months from start date.
Highly motivated, bringing a high level of energy and initiative to everything you do.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal quantitative, writing and communication skills.
Well organized and with excellent time management skills.
Desire to advance in the commercial real estate industry.
Prior experience using CRM programs.
Microsoft applications experience (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Prior knowledge of commercial real estate.
Familiarity with commercial leases and terms
Pursuant to local law, Colliers is disclosing the following information:
Area/Location Specific: Washington, DC.
Approximate Compensation Range for this Role: $53,763 to $60,000.
Bonus
This position is eligible for an annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.
Our compensation ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on this job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all national locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan, which includes an employer match. Employees will also receive 10 days of sick leave and a minimum of 15-days vacation annually. Certain senior-level roles are eligible for unlimited time off. Employees will also enjoy 10 paid holidays plus two personal flex days throughout the calendar year. Twelve weeks (for birth parents) and 4 weeks (for non-birth parents, including adoptive/foster parents) for paid parental leave will also be available for use after successful completion of 90 days of employment. Individuals may be eligible for different or additional benefits under applicable state law.
