Your day at NTT DATA
As an Associate Cloud Services Architect at NTT DATA, you will step into an exciting role where you will begin honing your skills in cloud technology and solution design. You'll join a team that pushes the boundaries of what's possible, contributing to the creation of Managed Services solutions that meet our clients' diverse needs. Working alongside experienced professionals, you'll gain hands-on experience in developing innovative, secure, and competitive solutions across the cloud domain.
Your day will involve assisting with the design of Managed Services solutions, integrating technology and service design to meet client needs. You'll conduct sales presentations, product demonstrations, and learn the ropes of installation and maintenance of our products. Your role will include supporting the validation of new design features and delivery models, and you'll provide input on improving existing service offerings.
You'll have the opportunity to support the design deliverables of solutions by coordinating with internal teams and partners to ensure supportability. As you grow in your role, you'll learn to map client requirements to service elements and architectures, participating in the end-to-end solution development process. You'll also assist in developing consulting approaches that outline business needs, desired states, and transition plans.
Your contributions will help our sales teams present compelling architectural solutions to clients, focusing on cost savings and identifying growth opportunities. You'll support the identification of service costs, ensuring that cost models accurately reflect the delivery of services over contract terms. With guidance, you'll assist in vendor management and ensure a smooth transition to service delivery teams.
To thrive in this role, you need to have:- A basic understanding of cloud technologies, networking, security, and system administration.
- Basic skills in Azure, GCP, or AWS architecture and presales.
- A basic understanding of virtualization, hybrid computing environments, and cloud-native technologies.
- Some knowledge of Managed Services, including cloud and global delivery models.
- Up-to-date knowledge of emerging trends in technology, Managed Services Integration, devSecOps, Cloud Native Service Applications, and various cloud platforms.
- Developing knowledge and appreciation of multi-cloud technologies, especially cloud-native application workflows and architecture transformation.
- Good communication and basic presentation abilities.
- A developing ability to facilitate workshops with clients and internal teams to discover requirements and present solutions.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team, contributing to team success while making individual contributions.
- A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
