What is the opportunity?
The Capital Markets Transformation team supports Capital Markets by working closely with business partners across the Front Office as well as functional teams to help enable change by executing business-driven transformation. This role is strategically important in driving business transformation and ensuring regulatory compliance, ultimately contributing to the long-term success of RBC Capital Markets. This role will support the broader strategic goals of the Business Transformation team by providing critical assistance with project execution, enabling senior team members to focus on high-level strategic planning and decision-making.
We are looking for an eager and high-performing individual to work on regulatory and strategic projects within our group, with a focus on delivering impactful business outcomes.
*** Please note, this is hybrid role. The expectation is that the incumbent will work a minimum of 4 days in the office.***
What will you do?
Develop key relationships within the Business, Functions, and across RBC segments, to execute on project deliverables
Work with stakeholders to develop project schedules, deliverables, and milestones
Create and maintain project artefacts, meeting materials, reports and status updates
Regularly report progress of project status, milestones, achievements, and risks / issues in both formal and informal settings
Prepare presentation materials to communicate project progress for key stakeholders and management as needed
Support the team with administrative tasks and data analysis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Facilitate project execution and the transfer of knowledge after project completion.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Undergraduate university degree in Business, Finance or a related field required
3-5 years of relevant experience
Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros) and PowerPoint (strong storyboarding of executive level presentations)
Demonstrated ability in stakeholder and relationship management
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Able to proactively work with other stakeholders in the bank to independently facilitate work
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment with the ability to provide direction to others
Nice-to-have
Understanding of Capital Markets and/or previous banking experience
Experience in leading projects or work streams within projects
Basic knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.

Compensation for this position (including salary and discretionary/variable payments) will be determined by factors, including but not limited to candidate's experience, skills, registration status, performance, individual goals, market conditions, and business needs.
Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$80,000.00 - $115,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location. If the posting lists multiple job locations, a recruiter can confirm availability of the role and the relevant pay rage for the additional locations listed.
