Job Duties: Responsible for all phases of SDLC for the AnSer product and infrastructure. Design and develop innovative solutions to complex problems, identifying issues and roadblocks. Deliver high efficiency, high availability, concurrent and fault tolerant software systems. Apply validated quality software engineering practices through all phases of development. Ensure resilience and stability through quality code reviews, unit, regression and user acceptance testing, dev ops and level two production support. Work with product management and business users to define the roadmap for the product. Collaborate with team members in a multi-office, multi-country environment. Work with client support teams to address issue and provide resolutions.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in computer science, or related field, and 2 years of experience in job offered, or as a software engineer, or in a closely related role. Position requires two years of experience in the following: Building enterprise software systems; Programming skills in Java; Java Swing UI; Spring; Maven; Apache Ignite; System Design; API’s, RPC Protocols Google Protobuf; and Working within the financial industry.

For New York, NY Only the salary range for this position is USD$156,000.00 - USD$210,000.00 . Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including healthcare, leave benefits, and retirement benefits. BlackRock operates a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy and your total compensation may vary based on role, location, and firm, department and individual performance.
