This Associate Biomed Technician position offers a comprehensive opportunity in the biomedical equipment field with a focus on preventative maintenance and minor repairs. Let me break down the key details for you:
The role offers a competitive salary range of $23.50 - $25.00 per hour with a standard Monday through Friday schedule from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, with some flexibility based on task completion requirements.
Performing preventative maintenance and minor repairs on various biomedical equipment
Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe service environment
Meeting individual and departmental productivity goals
Managing inventory processes and utility technician responsibilities
Communicating professionally with vendors and customers to resolve issues
Maintaining compliance with all applicable standards, SOPs, and work instructions
Learning and utilizing biomedical systems like OneTrack and various device testing software
Upholding McKesson's i2Care and iLead principles
Promoting a customer and patient-centric culture
Minimum Requirements:
0-1 years of related experience (entry-level position)
Good decision-making skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Effective communication skills
Ability to prioritize work and adapt to changing priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
Physical capability to lift 50+ pounds
Preferred Qualifications:
Biomedical Associates Degree
Healthcare technology management degree
Biomedical-related military experience
Vocational certification from an Accredited Certificate Program
Experience in medical device repair
Experience with biomedical programming/use
Prior work experience in the biomedical field
