We are currently looking for an Associate Analyst to join our team in Franklin, TN.   In this role, you will help support collaboration with production support teams and external vendors to assist in defining and implementing data‑driven products and enhancements. You will contribute to assigned data initiatives by helping coordinate tasks, maintain documentation, and support communication across teams. This role involves learning and following established processes, providing timely updates, and escalating questions or dependencies as needed to help ensure smooth delivery of data solutions.

A Day in the Life:  

  • Support collaboration with business stakeholders to gather, document, and clarify requirements for new DataMart products and enhancements to existing data assets, including views, tables, ETL workflows, facts, and dimensions.

  • Assist in defining and validating data model changes to support analytics and reporting needs, including Power BI dashboards and reports.

  • Coordinate, under guidance, the integration of inbound external data feeds and the creation of outbound data feeds for internal and partner consumption.

  • Work closely with data engineers, solution architects, DBAs, and production support teams to support sprint planning, track backlog items, and help ensure on‑time delivery.

  • Partner with internal teams and vendors to execute assigned data initiatives, escalating risks and dependencies as needed.

  • Prepare and share status updates, metrics, and documentation for reviews with product leads and business stakeholders.

  • Participate in recurring prioritization, backlog refinement, and coordination meetings to support roadmap execution.

  • Maintain strong organization and communication practices to support multiple workstreams simultaneously across business and technical teams.

  • Demonstrate clear, professional verbal and written communication when interacting with engineers, analysts, managers, and subject‑matter experts.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required Experience and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • 0–2 years of relevant professional experience in data, analytics, technology, or product‑adjacent roles.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage tasks across multiple priorities in a structured and organized manner.

  • Foundational understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL pipelines, and analytical data structures.

  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.

  • Comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders under direction from senior team members.

Preferred Technical Skills:

  • Snowflake: Basic to intermediate understanding of Snowflake concepts, data structures, and query performance considerations.

  • ETL Fundamentals: Familiarity with ETL principles, data pipelines, and transformation workflows.

  • DataMart Concepts: Introductory knowledge of dimensional modeling, facts, dimensions, and schema design for analytics.

  • Power BI: Exposure to building, enhancing, or supporting dashboards and reports is a plus.

  • SQL: Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data validation, analysis, and troubleshooting.

  • Data Integration: Awareness of inbound and outbound data feeds and coordination with upstream and downstream partners.
